Marcum LX-i Handheld Sonar

Now you can carry a sonar with you without the need to lug around a heavy battery pack or complicated depth-finding unit. Just set the transducer end on the ice, and the LCD display will show depths up to 299 feet in 1/10th-ft. increments. 2,500 watts of output power shoots right through the surface of the ice, so you can scan areas without the need to drill any holes. 12° cone angle. Includes fish alarm and embroidered holster-style carrying case. 20-hour battery life. Made in USA.

i would and did tell about this to everyone i meet while ice fishing.ya the battery cost is much.but u will drill less holes if the ice is clear and u have water.i recommend it....

poor battery life

The battery this unit uses will run about $10 and it does not last very long. I sold mine and went with the Polar Vision, it uses 4 AA batteries.
