Tec Shield™ Elite-CLP

This water-based compound cleans metallic surfaces while making them resistant to further corrosion and mechanical wear. It provides dry boundary lubrication, friction reduction and sustained barrier protection, thereby extending service life, reducing maintenance and minimizing equipment failures. Continued use in barrels will result in higher muzzle velocities, better cooling properties, improved accuracy and less carbon buildup. Environmentally safe with no hazardous chemicals or California Prop. 65 components.

A little on the pricy side, but this stuff goes a long way and lasts a long time. I bought it primarily for my M4, but have now done my entire collection with this. I was skeptical about it so I tore my M4 totally down, upper and lower, the bolt assembly, extractor, stock and buffer assembly, cleaned it all and then applied Tech Shield to everything. I wiped it off and then polished every part with a separate clean soft cloth. Not only did it make it clean and shiny, but it was slick, like a graphite coating, but its not. The biggest selling point for me was when I took it to the range and fired at least 200 rounds through it and then went home and clean up was 10 times easier than ever before. And anyone with a gas operated AR knows how bad they get. I am fussy with cleaning and maintaining all my guns, and this is a big help. Not only aids in cleaning but it protects the metal parts as well. This is worth the price.

great stuff

My son gave me a bottle of this stuff and it works great. It cleans my shotgun so good it takes only a couple of patches. What really is great it keeps the gun from collecting residue so it gets easier to clean each time. How great is that? Like others have said it has no odor too. I wont use anything else from now on.

The gun cleaner is odorless...that's the first thing that I liked about it! Cleaned my muzzle loader better than anything I've ever found and I love the dry lubricant!
