Shooter's Choice Cleaners and Removers

  • Disintegrate copper, lead, powder and plastic fouling with the one-step ease of Shooter’s Choice Bore Cleaner. It also removes baked-on carbon and corrosion, and doubles as a protective lubricant. The manufacturer urges caution during cleaning, as this cleaner damages stock finishes on contact. The cleaner will also discolor nickel plating and soften epoxy bedding materials if prolonged contact occurs.

  • Reduce friction and protect moving parts. FP-10 Lubricant Elite™ prevents friction and wear and protects against metal damage, eliminating most malfunctions due to unlubed part. It creates no build-up and does not effect the tolerances of moving parts. Tested successfully in extreme temperatures from -76° F to more than 500°.

  • Shooter’s Choice Lead Remover removes stubborn lead deposits from bores without hard scrubbing. It’s chemically formulated to get underneath lead deposits and lift them away without prolonged soaking. The manufacturer urges caution when using this product, because it will damage some paint, varnishes and plastics.

  • Instant results. Shooter’s Choice Copper Remover quickly and easily removes copper deposits and gilded-metal-jacket fouling from any firearm, without harming bores. Use only nylon brushes for application.

Keep Them Shooting Straight

I always use J-B bore cleaning compound and polish to break in new bores and keep the old ones shooting straight. You can't go wrong with J-B's.

As a Gunsmith,I have the pleasure to clean many firearms (sometimes not so much). I tried the shooters choice lead remover,and man does that stuff work! I recently had a client bring in an old pistol that he thought the barrel was "shot out". I read and followed the directions on the bottle,and gave it a try. After about an hour,I found that the barrel actually had "lands and grooves"!
