Been around since the dawn of time for a reason. Hoppe's #9 ranks with other great inventions of man with numbers in their name, such as 7-Up, WD-40 and Old Tennessee #7.
Smells great too. Reminds me of my Grandpa.

I bought this quart bottle of Hoppe's Famous No.9™ Solvent to refill a smaller bottle that I use while cleaning my guns. The solvent works great for cleaning my pistol, shotguns, and rifles. Only negative about this product is that it comes in a somewhat flimsy plastic bottle, but I suppose that makes it safer and cheaper, so its not really a negative on the actual product itself.
