I've used better
Date:
This particular lube leaves a white sticky film on the gun, and I really didn't see any benefit to using it.

Hoppe's Dri-lub review
Date:
Don't like this stuff. Used it on one of my handguns and it just caked up, looked like white gook. Had a heck of a time getting it off; had to strip the gun and wash if with paint thinner. This was on an ex-military metal frame handgun. Itdid used it sparingly though it didn't make a difference. I would not recommend it; just my opinion! :)

Dont waste your money

I'm a huge fan of Hoppe's products but this stuff is just useless. I got this because the Rem Oil spray tended to build up a black residue on the gun when it dried. This stuff is even worse, it leaves a hard white residue on what ever you use it on. And it doesnt even do what it's supposed to do, lubricate! I'm going back to Rem Oil at lest that lubricates the gun insted of fouling it up.
