Surprised at how well it worked.
Date:
Three years ago my 1858 Remington replica misfired and the ball stuck half in the cylinder and half in the barrel. While I was working to get it out, I slipped and gouged the cylinder and frame... I picked one of these up to give it some protection while I was waiting to get it in for repair. One wipe with the pen, and you couldn't tell that anything had ever happened. Matched the existing blue perfect. Three years later, and I can't find where the original damage was unless I run my nail across everything and feel for the gouge.

Presto gun blue pen
Date:
Save your money, this pen does not provide the advertised "quick-fix" at all. The best color I obtained while using it for a touch up on an FN Mauser bolt was a washed out brownish-gray that rusted through very quickly--extremely disappointing results. Get the oxpho-blue instead, way better product.
