Birchwood Casey Barricade® Rust Protection for Firearms – 4.5-oz

Drives away moisture from metal and protects it with a transparent seal. ASTM tested to withstand 500 hours of constant humidity and 96 hours of salt spray. Also effective as a bore cleaner. Loosens rusty or frozen parts, and removes fingerprint traces. Controlled-application spout. 4.5 oz.

I have been using Birchwood rust protector since I was a kid, and I have never, ever had rust on any of well over 100 guns.
I can't recament this any stronger, you won't be disappointed

I now use it only to lubricate the shoot of my snow blower, when blowing wet and heavy snow.
I used it for a full year to give it a fair chance, and anyone who wants to use this, is most definitely a rookie...and with time...will learn the hard way. When you have as many and as valuable guns as I do, you do not trust them to something like Barricade.
It does not work...period. You saying it is so...does not make it so, and I have yet to find one single firearms professional who either uses it...or recommends it...but they all like either Ballistol or Break Free CLP. No one in the know, ever uses Barricade.
FYI...WD40 is not recommended for use on any firearms, and even Ruger and Remington have published disclaimers. I know that people use it, and swear by it, but it was not designed for such usage.

I have used this stuff for years. It used to be called Sheath but they changed the name to Barricade a few years back. Great stuff. I trust it to keep my blued guns from getting fingerprint rust on the steel especially and I hose down my SMGs with this stuff after a range session to keep things protected and lubricated. Stinky though it is, I have come to associate the smell of this stuff with good memories at the range. Great stuff. Highly recommend.
