Gave these a go for northerns. Lots of strikes. Not a single set. I used the largest hooks I could find and the solid body of the bait would not move aside enough to hook the fish. I went back to hollow baits that have a much higher set percentage but get torn apart after a few fish.

Bought several packages of these in both sizes to use at Lake Champlain this past summer. Threw them over all kinds of weed mats and other weedy areas until I thought my arm would fall off. Couldn't even get a pike to hit them.
