I love this bait. After buying my first package and catching a 3 pound bass my first trip with them i bought almost all the colors. I think I have about 9 packages of these. I would strongly recommend using these all through summer and fall. The action is great. Most of my bigger fish throughout this year and last have been caught with rage craw as my jig trailer. Its a big presentation and it will attract giants. The legs do rip off pretty easily though which sux considering there about a dollar a piece. Also I haven't had much luck with these in the early spring. I would suggest uncle josh pork frog trailers for early spring.
Ive had great luck with all of the Rage Craw, Rage Shad & Rage Toad line. They are designed with an airfoil like flare to the outer edge of the crayfish claws and frog feet. This design is like NONE OTHER. The result is LIFELIKE action- used on a jig head, free fall creates a rather energetic looking flapping action to the claws, even on a short fall with a light jighead. Great for pop jigging in sparse cover and flippin & pitchin in heavy cover. The rage toad & shad produce about 2X as many topwater strikes as the competitors, and is soft enough to ensure a high hookset ratio. In open water they create a unique bubbling wake at slow speed and spits with high speed or jerking/ start-stop retrieve. I still use other trailers and topwater baits, but the rage line has steadily become one of the "Go-To" baits in my arsenal
Good Bait only draw back i have is it wasn't to durable for the price, great slow fall on 1/4 oz tungstun but had to many rip appart on fight, or claw breaking off by bluegills but that is to be expected, all in all i bought more really does catch.
