Good for when live bait's hard to come by....

Used it today (Bloody Shad) on some jugs in the TN River after having a hard time finding live bait. Caught 8 blue cats ranging from whole-fryers to a 14-pounder. Learned to keep it in the cooler to keep it from being too soft. Had this in the boat for a year before trying it. It won't sit unused anymore.

Best catfish bait

This is simply the best catfish bait I have ever used. We have gone through 2 packs of it and caught a catfish on just about every piece used. What we don't catch cats on I chop and and use for panfish. One day alone we caught 12 catfish on it (in less than an hour) and we chopped about one bait and caught 3 bream on it.

I used it at first just to attract them... then i just form it around the hook and just drop my line off the side of the boat. It smells bad because catfish like smelly things. I think this works pretty good. its not for if you want to cast though. when you cast it will fall off.
