    Good Exercise

Had knee replacement surgery and am a bit hesitant to get back into cross country sking. These snowshoes have got me back out enjoying the park in winter. Easy to adjust bindings. Rear binding is set to the size of your boot and the easy to use front ratchet straps allow you to quickly put on or take off

After walking through deep snow while deer hunting I decided I would get a pair of snowshoes to try out. After looking at quite a few different pairs I went with these in the 9"x30" size. I am around 190 in street clothes. I used them last winter in Wyoming while wearing a small day pack with some water and snacks on a hike in snow around three or feet deep. These worked great. Yes you sink in however you don\u2019t realize how well they work until you stick your hiking pole into the snow to see how deep it is. If I was trying to walk in the snow it would be more like digging/crawling. A nice addition to your gear closet and gives you something to do outside in the winter when football season is over. The snow was much deeper in the trees than where the picture was taken but you get the idea.

    Great snowshoes
    Date:
I bought these snowshoes and the women's pro snowshoes as well for Christmas. So far these are great snowshoes light weight and easy to use. The bindings on the snowshoes are easy to use when it is cold outside and wearing gloves. We use them for a lot of moderate hikes with not too much elevation changes. I did a lot of shopping around and found cabelas to have the best deal.

    Superb Snowshoe
    Date:
First of all I disagree with Talkeetna's review. I have many years of snowshoe experience and these have been the best snowshoes I have worn. The binding system is excellent since it provides great lateral support and quick mounting to almost any shoe or boot. My Asolo plastic mountaineering boots fit great in these bindings and I can put them on or remove them in less than one minute. Traction control is excellent. These snowshoes have been with me to most of New Hampshires high peaks on "boiler plate" ice or 24 inches of powder for the last four years. This is a great all around snowshoe whether it is used in the lowlands or climbing 4500 vertical feet on a mid-winter Presidential hike. The quality is comparible to other "name brand" snowshoes costing much more.
