Cabela's Outfitter Pro Snowshoe Poles
Date:
I am very happy with these poles. After reading the previous review I was unsure of what I was going to get; but I have to disagree with it. The straps fit perfectly & adjust with ease. These seem to feel very sturdy & plan on putting on a whole lot of miles with these. Another great product!

straps way to short
Date:
I recently purchased two sets of these poles, one for me and one for my wife who by the way has small hands. I immediately found the straps to be much to short to be used as they should be, hand inserted up from underneath so the strap actually supports the hand so you don't have to grip the pole continuously. When I tried to adjust the straps to a longer length there wasn't enough strap left for the buckle to hold it and keep it from slipping through, and falling off, especially after I put on my gloves which are somewhat essential usually when using snow shoe poles. My wife had the same problem, and as I said she has much smaller hands than I do.
The system to hold the poles at the set length seemed to work ok, but hard to grip the pole tight enough with gloves on to make any adjustment.
I would not recommend the poles unless the straps are lengthened significantly by the manufacturer.
