Worked Geat, the First Time....

After drilling a 3/4" hole in my grill to install the Old Smokey, I fired it up and the thing was spot on. A week later I came out to turn the grill on and it wasn't even registering. Now I'm in a panic trying to figure out the temp for our family dinner. Certainly not the reliability I would have expected from Cabela's.

Better Cooking Control For Your Outdoor Oven BBQ

This thermometer will give you spot on control for your cooking. From fish to pizza you will know how long to cook, what ever you are cooking, just like in your oven. Sometimes I'll make wood fired pizza. You can run up you BBQ 425-450 degrees and take a premade pizza crust put on you goodies and bake in the BBQ; knowing the time it will take because you will know that the tempeture is accurate. Add just a little bit of wood chips and you will have a high dollar wood fired pizza.
