As far as construction goes, this raft (at least the 4-person model) is very well-built. It is easily inflated in three zones and holds it's air pressure very well. As to be expected, the oars are feeble at best - we broke two of the four on our first trip around the pond. As for Colossus, talk about a misnomer!! The four person model will only fit 4 if they are hobbits! Me and my two young children take up pretty much all of the available room. If you are looking for an inflatable that truly handles 4 people, this is NOT it. Nonetheless, it is a strong and easily piloted craft, and I have no doubt it will fit our need of having a portable boat to take to the mountain lakes when camping!

This is a great boat. The four person rating is a little exaggerated. My wife and I filled the boat, and we are not big people. Maybe two adults and two small children.
