The new tunnel hull design on the Bass Hunter EX increases motor efficiency by more than 50% and increases the boats overall agility. Fore and aft seat pedestals are adjustable and easily removable, yet lock down during use for maximum safety. Drink holders and storage niches are just a couple of the creature comforts built into the new design. For transport, molded handles make for easy carrying. Molded tie-off areas fore and aft for anchoring or tying into a dock. Foam-filled twin pontoon design yields amazing stability, and cast manufacturing method produces a one-piece, seamless boat with "expedition level" strength.

Not the best choice
Date:
I owned an original green Bass Hunter before this. I loved the ergonomics of the orginal Bass Hunter and this boat is not near as good as the original. You can't safely keep rods on the side bars. The grooves in floor make placing thigs challenging. The rails for seats were also warped on the one that I bought also. The boat is durable which is good and bad as I'll have it for some time since it won't die as easily, but bad since I"m so ready for another boat that works better for me than this mistake I bought.

My boat is not a money pit!

I got the green version of this boat before they made it seamless. I have had no problems with it. I did not want to store a trailer, so I bought a roof rack for my 15 passenger van. I can set the boat down behind the van, lift one side up and set it on the back of the roof rack, and then get behind it and slide it onto the van. I still back down boat ramps but I just drop the boat on the edge of the water, throw my battery and motor on with my tackle and fishing poles and I can go out with one of my kids and troll all morning or afternoon. I added an aluminum frame to hold my fishfinder between the seats so both of us can see the display. You can stand in it. It tracks pretty straight, and with a marine full size battery, I can run my fishfinder and my motor at about 2 mph for several hours and troll at a nice steady speed. Great for lake fishing. The indentations along the edges are great for keeping gear close at hand. I can cut one lure off my pole and toss it there until we are done for the day. I did buy the bags they sell that hook to the back of the seats to hold drinks, food and tackle. There is space under the seats for stuff, but if you are like me and take the kitchen sink fishing with you, the seat bags make it more organized. I weigh 280, I have a 260 pound brother, and a marine battery, fishfinder, and electric motor and tackle and the boat holds us just fine. I love it. I also love how cheap it is compared to about any bass boat out there, yet I can do anything a bass boat can do, except go many miles in a hurry. I usually fish within a mile of the boat ramp and cruise around all over.

Purchased this using the website. I was to allow 3-5 weeks for delivery, and was contacted by the shipping company with-in 5 days. It was delivered curbside the following day!!! It fits perfectly in the back of a full size truck or a small pull behind yard trailer. The surprising thing that you don't see from the picture is the sturdiness and leg room. The seats set up higher that other boats that I've tried, which gives surprising comfort. This boat is heavy duty, and super tough. It has two dry storage areas that make it great for small items such as cell phones, and wallets. I've had two trolling motors on it. A 17 lb thrust for small areas and a 40 lb for bigger ponds up to 30 acres. I've had no reservations about its stability and plan to use it as a layout blind on ponds for waterfowl hunting. This is a boat that you can use in an unlimited amount of ways, and should have it for years to come. The staff is likewise great to work with if you need to register your boat.
