Slicing perfection!

This mandolin slicer does a fantastic job on potatoes and squash, especially when you re frying. The uniform thickness makes them come out perfect everytime! The julianne blade makes coleslaw prep a snap! The quality of this product is great, and the stainless steel construction makes cleanup a breeze! No kitchen should be without one!

Too big & bulky

If your kitchen is at all crowded, this bulky tool is not for you - It is also too cumbersome to use for small amounts - You need to be making cole slaw for 50 to make it worthwhile using.

Mandolin is safe

This mandolin is very safe however is does waste a lot of food. It will not cut the last about 1/2 inch of product. It seems well made and the interchangable blades are good. I recommend a professional mandolin and a Kelvar glove.
