Thin-slice meats, cheeses and other foods just like the local deli, or carve steaks up to 1" thick with our Heavy-Duty Slicer. The durable cast-aluminum housing sits atop a gravity-fed, tilted stand for easy use, and a convenient, stainless, food tray catches the sliced food below. It’s equipped with a Solingen® stainless steel 6-5/8"-diameter cutting blade that’s removable for easy cleaning. Easy thickness adjustment. The unit is powered by a 90-watt A/C motor.

ON CHEESE OR SMALL MEATS LIKE LUNCH MEAT , SUMMER SAUSAGE IT IS FINE BUT I CUT SOME COLD PORK LOIN STEAKS ABOUT 3/4 INCH AND THEY WOULD NOT CONSISTENTLY CUT THRU THE WHOLE PORTION, IT LEFT IT ATTACHED ON ANY TENDON TYPE PORTION OF THE MEAT THAT THE BACK FAT IS ATTACHED TO AND I HAD TO FINISH THE CUT WITH A KNIFE. AGAIN I SAY YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Just got this slicer for my B-day. I've only had a chance to use it once. I sliced a semi-frozen venison roast into 1/4" pieces for making jerky. It worked GREAT and my jerky pieces were cut so evenly it made smoking so much easier. So far a great product !!!

Light Duty Only

This using is great for light duty slicing. Great for lunch meats, cheese. It has a slow moving blade with a deadman's switch on it... Sort of a pain. All plastic gears inside. Any heavy duty slicing will destroy this device. It also has some play in the table, so you won't get an accurate slice with it. I ruined mine when trying to slice a small piece of frozen ground beef.
