Ok, kind of heavy & no stoage pouch / repair kit
Date:
I tested one of these purposely making it uncomfortable, took a piece of plywood and put small rocks (.75") on it as well as a bunched-up sock, a mini mag-light and a marker - put a super thin sheet of plastic over that to not damage the pad - and slept on it for 3 days to evaluate -- the pad not so good. For the layperson it should be fine but for hardcore / hunter types that want decent rest after a long day hunt/hike - go for the big agnes pad instead (which also comes with a storage pouch and a repair kit. And if you really are planning for snow camping take a extra foam pad for insulation on top. The thermarest has some insulation but not enough - and compromises too much on comfort, weight etc... check out big agnes pad instead.

A good alternative
Date:
I was suprised that this pad didn't come with a transport bag and repair kit. When I first opened it up to self inflate I was suprised how much time it took. The first night I slept on it I was uncomfortable, but as I got used to it I slept better. Its good in a pinch but my next outing in 3 weeks is going to include my 3" foam Deluxe Camp Bed.
