Million-hole foam design weighs 30% less than conventional foam
Abrasion-resistant 75-denier nylon shell
With their increased 2-1/2" thickness and abrasion-resistant, 75-denier pitch fabric, the Alaskan Guide pads are more comfortable, better insulating and more durable than ever before. The million-hole foam design creates thicker padding and weighs 30% less than conventional foam. The self-inflating pads pack easily with built-in compression straps for easy rolling and transport. Each has its own stuff sack. Textured surface gives you a soft and slip-resistant place for your sleeping bag. Along the edge of each pad, hook-and-loop strips are attached, so you can hook two or more pads together for use with double sleeping bags. Attachment points are aligned so pads of different sizes can be linked together. Repair kit included. Imported.
THE most comfortable I've ever been sleeping outdoors. I have neck and shoulder problems, my wife has lower back issues, and both of us can't stop bragging about our Alaskan Guide pads! Well done Cabela's!
Inflates quickly and easily. I've used it on several overnight outings since purchasing it and it has not failed to give me a comfortable nights sleep.
This works amazing. The extra padding to get you off of the ground can't get any better. It self inflates easily and just as easy to deflate/pack up. A little bit bulky, but if you strap it to the outside of your pack it works fine. Over all a great product.
These Alaskan Guide pads are very good and comfortable considering how thin they are. A few issues should be noted. They need a few extra breaths to fill them up to a good firmness as they do not fully expand on their own, no real trouble there. The bigger issue is that they are very tough to roll into the size needed to fit into the stuff sacks and some considerable patience and muscle must me put into rolling them to fit. In a camp-pack situation this issue is OK as they can be reduced to a compact size once stuffed into sack, but to much effort is needed and I will pack them into a different sack and save the effort. But save the pack sacks in case you ever need to portage them in! Overall, very good pads.
