Trekker Camp Cot - Perfect!
Date:
I just picked up two of these cots for a long camping trip up in NH. In reading the reviews, it seemed like the one to go with. Bonus was I got them while they were on sale.
The cots themselves are awesome! I'm picky when it comes to quality and durability, and I can assure you these are both. Strong steel frame, zero noise, and super easy to set up. I was a little worried about assembly because of the other reviews. I honestly have no clue what the issue was. These cots literally fold right out into their full size from a nice compact position. The only things you have to assemble are the head and foot cross bars. The first one goes right in, the second takes a little bit of strength, but like the other person said, nothing a kid couldn't do. Moral of the story - Great cot, good buy! Couldn't be happier.

Great Value
Date:
Hadn't slept in a cot for 15+ years since I did a tour in the military. My brother and I had planned a trip to Wyoming to hunt Pronghorn, late fall of 2011. All 3 of us in the tent had cots and they worked flawlessly. These cots hold plenty of weight, I am 240, my father in law is 260 and we didn't have any troubles with these cots. I slept comfortably in 20 degree or less weather for 10+ nights and I couldn't be happier that I got this out of the bargain cave.
Others may like spending twice as much to show off, but why, when you can get just as much product for half the price. Thanks again Cabela's.

Really Impressed
Date:
I ordered these for myself (5ft. 11 in/ 180 lbs.) and my daughter (7). I have always struggled on an air mattress because it hurt my back. So I opted for a cot. The first cot I bought made my body ache, so I returned it. I bought these for a Spring Break trip which was rained out. Needless to say we are camping in the living room. Night 3 and I still have no aches or pains AT ALL!!! I placed my old dorm comforter and my slumberjack sleeping bag down as a pad and I have had not trouble. My daughter absolutely loves her cot too!!
