Great foam mat
Date:
This mat worked great for use in a tent with a sleeping bag. It protected me from rocks and sticks and kept me off the tent floor. It is easy to roll up and store.

Not a stand alone product
Date:
Other reviews expect this to be a TemperPedic, which it isn't. My opinion, it should be used with another pad/mat/cot, and not on its own. I use it with a LuxuryLite Cot and the pad gives excellent from below insulation and padding against the cot's side rails. Bulky, yes, but light. As a single piece of sleepware, not very good, but it is a 5/8" piece of foam and can't be expected to cushion much. Its a first rate piece of insulation and coupled with my cot provided a good night's sleep. I camped with this 13 out of 14 nights out on a motorcycle trip with nights in the 30s. Other than the bulk, I love this thing.

OK Mat
Date:
Used this mat during a 2 night Boy Scout campout. Slept on hard ground and it did the job. It wasn't the greatest mat I have ever used, but it is lightweight.

worst foam mat ever
Date:
Once I opened it up, noticed oil stains on end from rollers at factory. Cabelas sent another one, same thing. It looked used. Called Alps Mountaineering to complain. They couldn't have cared less. Sent them back for a refund, which wasn't a problem from Cabelas. The problem is their still advertising this useless waste of money.
