An all-conditions bag with top-quality goose down insulation and high-performance engineering. Insotect Flow™ baffle construction eliminates cold spots and provides faster, more uniform heat distribution. It features built-in Insotect Flow Gates that regulate down migration and maintain insulation density throughout the bag. Continuous vertical Flow Gates also prevent insulation shifting in place of regular side seams, preventing heat loss at traditional weak points for superior comfort and warmth. Its nylon microfiber ripstop shell delivers downproof, tear-resistant durability and a stain- and water-repellent finish. Downproof, super-soft nylon lining with a stain-resistant finish and built-in fabric loops for attaching a sleeping-bag liner. Rectangular shape offers more room in the shoulders and footbox. No-draft zipper tube and collar seals prevent cold-air seepage. Integrated pillow pocket holds a Big Agnes pillow (not included) for head and neck support. Full-length, snag-resistant No. 8 YKK® zipper. Cotton storage sack and nylon stuff sack included. Imported.

As expected
Date:
At 5'9" the bag is about the right size and on other bags insulation ends up compressed on the bottom anyway so the pad sleeve works decent.

Not for side sleepers
Date:
Be aware that Big Agnes sleeping bags are designed for back sleepers. If you sleep on your side, the sleeping bag will stretch tightly over your shoulder, creating a tenting effect with air pockets. Although it is a large bag, if you sleep on your side with the mattress inserted in the pocket on the bottom, it will feel restricting and weird.
You can just lay it on top of your mattress, without putting the mattress in the pocket, but then you will have cold spots due to the lack of insulation on the bottom.
The idea behind Big Agnes sleeping bags is to save weight by eliminating the bottom insulation. But the mattress-in-the pocket concept creates problems of its own. If you're a side sleeper you need to be able to draw the bag around you to close up air pockets. You can't do that with the mattress in the pocket.
Another problem with this bag is that it isn't really a 15-degree bag. Experienced backpackers rate it as a 30- or 35-degree bag.
With respect to the weight, there are sleeping bags that are lighter and cheaper, and have insulation on both sides.
These comments also apply to other Big Agness sleeping bags that have no insulation on the bottom. I owned the Lost Ranger and was not satisfied with it. After I purchased it Big Agnes told me it doesn't work well for side sleepers.
