wind adjustment flimsey
Date:
I purchased the Silver Talon and was amazed at how easy it was to adjust and sight in also, the brightness of the single pin is by far the best I have seen. However, after 2 3D tournaments and just 2 weeks prior to hunting I opened my bow case to find the windage adjuster cap set screw let loose and the springs and bearings all came out, non-repairable! The people at Cabellas went to the shelf to get me another and it had the bearings already laying in the package. I went with a TruGlow with no windage adjuster and paid $15 more, well worth it.

level is off
Date:
I like construction of this sight. It seems solid enough. The up and down adjust is a little hard to move up and down but I can deal with that. However putting some string levels on my bow shows that the sight bubble level is off and there is no way to adjust it. Not a big deal for me but still if there going to include it then needs to be level. For this reason I decided not to recommend it.

Silver Talon Sight
Date:
I was having problems with regular pin sights so I went to this single pin with tape for measuring distance. The strips they give you with pre-printed distances is kinda useless as it doesn't give you any indication of which one you should use for your bow setup. They DO give you a few blank ones, which is what I used. Once the distances were marked after trial and error, I was dead on each time. The pin itself is VERY bright, better than the truglo I had on before. I didn't have any problems with adjustments and moving the sight distances once you get the right torque on the screws. Nice setup. I like it better than any sight I've used so far.
