I purchased this item even after reading some bad reviews because I liked the concept of the boresighter. However I was not able to figure out how to properly use this product. It was returned to Cabelas and exchanged for a mechanical boresighter. Perhaps the poor rating I recorded should be for the instructions and not the zero point boresighter.

the best boresighter I've used

works like a charm. zeroed all my rifles using 5 rounds or less at 50yds. Simple adjustments henceforth to send rounds at 100, 200 accurately. Just follow the instructions. Equipment used on: Nikon Monarch 6x-32x 50mm on CZ 527 Varmint Kevlar .223; IOR Valdada 3x-18x 42mm on Sig Sauer 556 DMR; US Optics SN3 5x-28x 58mm on Sig Sauer SSG 3000.

On the expensive side, but a good product.

Like most Leupold equipment, this item is not inexpensive. However, it is well made and works as advertised. I used it this year to sight in my slug gun for deer season (I go back east for whitetail hunting). The first shot was on the paper, which was nice, because sabot slugs are not cheap.
