Lyman No. 2 Tang Sight

The legendary Lyman No. 2 Tang Sight has been improving accuracy since 1878. It features height index marks on the aperture post and a maximum elevation of .800 for long-range shooting. Comes with a .093 quick-sighting hunting aperture and .040 large-disk target aperture; rear stock screw and front tang screws. Adds as much as 32% greater inherent accuracy at 100 yards.

Great addition to your lever gun

This sight is well made and easily installs. Put it on my pre 64 model 94. It increased my accuracy at the range. Unit comes with 2 apertures for your shooting preference. Can't wait till fall for hunting with it. You will need to tap the tang for the forward mounting screw on early winchesters. Very easy to do. I highly recommend this sight to anyone looking for better accuracy from the lever guns.

It is very nice tang sight. I gave it 3 stars because I had to do some modifications on the supplied screw, it was mushroomed and long. The guys at Cabela's took care of business in more than satisfactory fashion.

This sight mounts right where your thumb goes on the wrist of the stock and interferes with your grip. This might work fine on a Winchester, but is is extremely awkward and uncomfortable on the Marlin lever action. This item was returned.
