Glow-In-The-Dark Sight Paint Kit

Easy-to-apply phosphorescent paint greatly enhances sights on rifles, shotguns or pistols, especially in low-light situations. Glow pigment is activated by brief exposure to light and can be recharged indefinitely. Meets military specs. Highly water-, weather- and oil-resistant. There's 30 or more applications per kit, which includes paint and primer.

It's A No-Glow

Applied per instructions. Not difficult but is tedious. Gave it two stars only because it goes on as advertised and the primer may be useful by itself. The phosphorescent part is pretty much a fail. I charged the front sight with a fairly powerful LED flashlight for 15 minutes then stuck the gun in a dark cabinet and timed it. Two (2) minutes was all it took to lose its glow and probably half of that time it did not really glow enough to be useful.
I didn't expect it to last for hours but certainly more than 2 minutes!

very easy to use, dries quickly , the white is very bright and the glow show up well at night but hard to see in the day

While I've never had occasion to put the glow in the dark sight paint to the test in pitch black conditions, I can tell you that it's a big help on the range in finding a black front sight and a black target. Very little investment but a big help!

Good idea, followed instructions, applied 2 or 3 thin coats waited to dry in between coats.
Product chips off easily
I may have been expecting too much, and I may have been using the product for more then it was intended for.
I would recommend this product with my experience included....
