Bright and durable sight

I originally put one of these on an over/under I got for shooting sporting clays about 7 years ago (I got the orange one). The dot is very bright and easy to pick up when shooting clays. I later started using the same gun for duck/goose hunting and kept the sight on there. Regardless of lighting conditions I never ever had a problem seeing the sight except for once when I got the hood plugged up with mud from the marsh we were hunting in.
After 7 years of rain, snow, mud, extreme cold and heat, knocking around in the bottom of a duck boat, and even being submerged in a lake when our canoe tipped, the sight is still attached to the gun and doesn't seem to be going anywhere soon. If the rib is thoroughly cleaned before installation the adhesive is pretty much permanent.
I took a friend out to shoot clays and loaned him my o/u with this sight on it. He bought a shotgun two days later and asked me to pick one of these up for him while I was out shopping. I also bought a new o/u at the same time, and the first thing I did was install one of these. They make it so much easier to get on a fast moving target than the little silver or white beads that shotguns come with.

simple design that works perfectly

I put this sight on my mossberg 835 and I love it, I shoot with both eyes open for wing shooting and this sight allows you to do so without having a rear sight, it makes you get your cheek on the stock in order to see the sight clearly. I've tried many of the other sights as well like the tru glo and the hi viz, but this sight is the best by far.

Best DOT sight

I have had this sight on my duck gun for 4 yrs and never had a single problem. All weather all conditions this is the best fiber optic sight I have ever used. DO NOT order the green sight though, it disappears in most duck hunting backgrounds!

Not For Duck Hunting

good for dry weather only, I used this a few times last season in dry weater and it worked good. On opening day this year it was raining and all I saw was a black dot, It seems that water likes to go inside the tube and sit there!
