This is a good port a pottie. The odors are contained but we only used it for #1. Easy to clean. This is our second pottie and I miss the gage that indicates how full the holding tank is. There is a space on the pottie but the indicator was eliminated. I don't like to take the chance of it becoming overfull and too heavy.

Great toilet
Date:
I would recommend this camping toilet to anyone who likes to get away for a few days and not have to make the long walk to the campground toilets. Very easy to use. Holds enough water for serveral days use. Seals orders very well. Easy to transport and no worries if it happens to tip over when transporting, no leaks. Empting is easy and clean. Have had the toildet for almost a year and love it. I have combined it with the Aussie pop up outhouse (also from Cabela). Sorry I didn;t buy it sooner.

Good little toilet for the money
Date:
This is a good little toilet for the money. We purchased it to put in our pop up for night time use only. We don't #2 in it , nor do we put the toilet paper in it and it suffices for an entire week of use. The clean up is a snap this way. There are no odors. You can upgrade to an electric one, but for occasional use, it does the job.

Skip the 135 and get a bigger model
Date:
I just got done using this on a 3-day camping trip and returned wishing I had bought the bigger Thetford 465.
Pros: It does seal the odors well, easy to empty.
Cons: (1) Way too small--if you are going to buy this one, make something it can sit on to give you more heighth; (2) 27 flushes? Laughable--fills up very quickly. The reason? My guess is you have to work the bellows air pump many times due to the weak stream of water it puts out; (3) Bellows air pump puts out a weak stream of water that is NOT good at all moving solids or toilet paper.
Very disappointed but will try the 465 with the hope that the electric flush will do a more effective job of cleaning the unit and that the larger capacity will allow for more flushes.
