Includes a Powder & Shot Chart with 487 settings. Plus, with each purchase, you will receive a FREE Powder Baffle. A $14.99 value that assures even powder density and consistency. Die-cast zinc construction. Spring-loaded for a better powder seal. This charge bar will fit the MEC progressive 650N, 8576N and 9000G Shotshell Reloader.
The Universal Charge bar allows you to load all combinations of powder and shot by using the adjustment screws on the bar. There is no need for powder busings, or separate shot bars. I would suggest having the use of a scale to verify that the shot and powder weights are correct, then record the screw settings on the bar for future reference.
I wouldn't buy another one. It seams to hate longshot powder. At least 10 out of a hundred didn't drop the powder in 20 gauge. I waxed the bar and still seams to not drop powder. I use the shells for skeet and it is good for a few chuckles when you play is the shell going to fire or not. I've reloaded thousands of 12 gauge using clay and bushings and never had this problem.
