Great slug

I have been shooting these through a mossberg 500 rifled barrel for the past few years. Holding nice groups and has great expansion. I was able to put a beer can in the exit hole of this years deer! No worries about them running to the neighbors properties.

went out today with 10 different brands of slug these performed by far the best out of my 870 with cantiliver barrel stacked 4 in one hole at 50 yads and the other 1/4 in away. only reason i give 4 stars is cause i ran out of shells b4 i got to 100 yards

Not the slug for my gun!

Well as we all should know all slug guns are different. Rifling twists, slower, faster and so on. I had a Mossberg 695 bolt action with a BSA scope. These slugs did well at 50yrds 2-3 inch groups. Go out to 100yrds and they are all over the place. These didn't work well with my gun but that doesn't mean they wont work for yours. All in all I would go with something else like the Remington AccuTips. These XP3 slugs could use some improvement.

Waste of money!!!

Bought several boxes on sale, tried to sight them in using my Remington 870 express w/ slug barrel,
6" to 8" groups @ 50 yards was the best I could get using a bench rest.
