Kent Fast lead 12 gauge

Rounds crush the birds but jamming is an issue in my SBE.. I love the knockdown power and little to no cripples but 4 out of 25 rounds will stove pipe. Which doesn't sound like alot but when you invest in a trip to South Dakota its alot. I limped through 1 whole season thinking I had a gun problem but switched to Fiocchi GPX's and problem solved.. I love the rounds though and if I had a pump or O/U I would not hesitate to buy these again. My son's Nova loves em.

Patterns well

I patterned the Kent Fast Lead 20 ga 1oz of #6 against the Fiocchi Golden Pheasant 1oz #6. The Kent shell countains 235 pellets the GP 255. The Kent actualy patterns 5 percent tighter so out of the additional 20 pellets you get in the GP only ten landed in the 30" circle at 35 yards(max range I take game). Pattern was just as even or maybe better distribution. Kent patterned tighter out of 4 chokes tried. I wish Cabelas would offer a case of the Kent Fast Lead 20 ga 1oz #7.5. This load is on Kents site but Cabelas doesn't carry it. I like the price of the Kents. You will have to pattern test but these shells are worth trying out.

this is one of the best upland game loads i have ever used. we use these in our benelli novas and sbe2s and they just chew'em up and spit'em out. the shells preform awsome. from squairrals to doves and pigeons, i have very few cripples with these. they are hard hitting load. i have had no problem making clean shots at 70 or more yards with these. you will see these shells rolling with me this year:)

Excellent knockdown power

Fantastic shell, except for the newer Benelli 12 ga. Cycles fine through the older models and also Stoeger shotguns. Crushes upland birds and wish it would cycle through the newer models. Hands down the best upland load out there for range and effective kills.
