Performed well
Date:
I got a case of these in #5 for a pheasant tower shoot. Most shots were long and fast. They preformed as well as any other shell I have ever used and at a great price.

feathers flew and the meat went with
Date:
every 6 shot load i used shot good out of my quail gun ( which is a browning a5 this gun has never misfired ) but these shells i had bought some of these shell because they had a heck of a price. once i started kickin up some bobwhites i found out why they were so cheap the first shot left the wad in my barrel tht ended my opener of the kentucky quail season next day had 5 misfires 6 missed birds 1 dead bird and another wad in my barrel to end my hunt. even though these shell are at a good price i recommend a shell a little for expensive live federal or winchester super x. even though i rated these shells 1 star i would give them no stars( you have to rate them to submit review)

Try these on paper first
Date:
It is always a good idea to see how your shells pattern before taking them afield. Examine the holes in the patterns made by Estate High-Velocity Game Loads and you will discover that they are not the same size. This might have something to do with the shot patterns you discover. Initially, I suspected deformed lead. Open the shotgun shell from the top and you will see various sizes of shot in the wad. Pour the shot out onto a sheet of paper if you have trouble seeing the difference is shot sizes. Examine the shot further and you will find several shades and colors from bright silver to charcoal. A lot of the shot isn't symmetrically round. Initially, I thought some of the shot was steel but a magnet proved otherwise. I don't think it is all lead. There isn't the normal push of a shotgun recoiling when you pull the trigger. The recoil is sharp. The smoke from the expended shell seems to be disproportionally excessive and the powder smell is different. Not that it's bad, just different. Be sure to clean your shotgun up after testing these shotgun shells or hunting with them. There is significant residue buildup.

High Powered Loads
Date:
My shotgun (Mossberg 930spx) does not like low based shells. It digests these no problem. Very powerful, I use them in three gun matches when buckshot is overkill.
