Always bought Columbia shorts...but these I agree with the other reviews, they are a little overwaisted but the comfort is great...We fish alot in tropical heat...in high humity and these fair well...Love the pockets....thanks for a great short will not change...wish they had a few more colors..but thats ok u cannot beat the price....thanks Cabela...

I agree with the other reviewer...go with a smaller size. I am a 36 waist and I ordered the 34 and they fit perfectly. They have a semi-elastic band that stretches. Nice materials, quick drying...should last for years.

I saw these shorts and thought it might be a good deal for the brand. It is, these are made of a very lightweight and very soft material. The insides of the pockets are made out of a mesh type material like you would find in swimming trunks. As long as they stay together they will be great. It gets really hot in Arizona and I'm always looking for clothes made out of lightweight material. Well, I'm going to order a couple more pair of these right now while the gettin is good.

A bit overwaisted

Light to wear, good material and sewing quality, as it is usual with Columbia, but when it comes to sizing, they are odd.
Usually Columbia's clothing is true to size, but these are about 2 inches wider. As if that would be not enough, they have a pair of elastic waistbands, so in case you don't like your shorts falling off when belt is unbuckled, my advice is to tape your waist and go 2-3 inches down.
Apart from that, they are definitely pretty and a real bargain for their sale price.
