Nice and soft right out of the package. Denim was substantially well made and in fact may be some other makers heavy stuff. FIt true to size and wear like iron. Feel good and wash up great after a full days work. Have not had a better pair of shorts or work shorts that fit my needs as well. Right pleased with these.
