Cute shirt -- but runs small

Other review said it was big on her -- I ordered my usual medium and it was tight across the chest -- just small, and too uncomfortable to even try to wear. I'm wondering if there was a problem with the sizing/manufacturing of this shirt, if the sizes aren't consistent? That said, it's a really cute plaid, the fabric seems nice, and it would be great if you can find one that fits.

Women's Stony Brook Camp Shirt

This is one of the most comfortable shirts I own. Most sleevless shirts have a gap at the underarm for me. This one doesn't. The only drawback is I have to be at the drier when it stops to take it out and hang it up. Otherwise it needs ironing. Small sacrifice.

I did not like this shirt because is ran very large for the size. I purchased a medium, my usual size. It just hung on me and was very boxy. The arm holes were very large as well. I could not even see using it as a layering piece. It's too bad because the pattern was really cute.
