The concept is exactly what I have been looking for a hiking stick that is also a Bipod. However, they are noisy and not quick to setup. I hope they improve the product and I'll try another one but these are going back.

It has its faults

Initially I was thrilled. What a great idea - combine shooting and walking stick into one. Lightweight, easy and fast to deploy, with a good grip and an excellent sturdy shooting support it seemed the ideal accessory for nightime stalking. In practice, though, it proved less useful because of the noise it makes. When half extended for walking or stalking use the inner tube rattles against the outer tube of the stick. This means that the Scissor Stix need to be carried fully extended not to scare away the game which can be cumbersome at night and which also defeats the purpose to the kit.
