It is a promotional, having said that every show out there is to be far. Outstanding shots and a good overall video on long range shooting. Please note: This is not an educational video on how to shoot that far.

Long range shooting DVD

I have been considering attending the Thompson's course for some time now when I happened upon this DVD. It is really more of a promotional piece for their course showing numerous long range kill shots. Mark shows a wide varitey of shooters, some vetrans of many years of hunting, and some new. The feature rifle is a Weatherby 30-378 and basically demonstrates how easy it is to shoot at long distances especially if you attend their course. He had a couple of women shoot it (their first time) to demonstrate how easy it is to shoot even for someone of small stature. Recoil was more than manageable although hearing protection was required as with any rifle it should be. Since viewing this
I happened to talk to several people whom attended the course and they said it was awesome.
