So-so
Date:
The good: both the glasses and ear muffs fit my 5 year old (a big fella) really well. The fact that the ear muffs fit means he kept them on for a couple hours while out dove hunting, so his hearing was protected, which is a very good thing.
The bad: the glasses have a really dark tint to them, so on anything but a very sunny day, they're not a viable option. The glasses' ear piece, when worn under the ear muffs, is pressed painfuly into the kid's head, so he couldn't wear them for more than a few minutes (i.e., the two don't work together). The ear muffs are bright shiny silver--not so good for hunting--so I covered them with camo duct tape--now they're perfect.
All in all, getting ear muffs that fit the kid and he'll wear make them worth buying, but there is a ton of room for improvement.

My 8 yr old son was thrilled to have his own ear protection and shooting glasses. Neither of these items were comfortable. The ear muffs work but they are not comfortable at all. When you try to wear the shooting glasses with the ear protection, the glasses hurt your face. I ending up having to give my son my shooting glasses and ear protection to wear at the shooting range. This was a waste of money. I would return it but they were used in August in Texas so they were sweated on. The only reason I give them 2 stars is because aside from the pain they caused, they were good at muffling the gun shots.
