The world's first sub-compact-mountable laser/tactical-light combo is so tiny, it tucks neatly between the trigger guard and muzzle with no overhang. This compact light/green laser is perfect for EDC or home defense. At the range it turns heads and gets holes in paper dead on every-time. The strobe alone is enough to deter most would be bad guys, the laser is just plain scary. I will purchase another for my AR. Get one, you will not be sorry.

I purchased this as a christmas gift for myself and couldnt wait to get it. Cabelas was quick to ship it out to me. Once i got it, i read the manual and then proceeded to test it out. To my surprise, the laser came on for about 2 seconds and then turned off. It never worked again. The light works, but no lazer. After searching and reading other problems people are having with these, i will be retuning mine for a refund first thing tomorrow.

the viridian website states the c5l has a range of 200 yards in daylight. I couldn't get it to paint a paper target at over 25 feet. Forget 50 yards. Maybe the manufacturer has never been to Texas but the sun here is bright. Secondly, the laser being fully visible at night is great if you are trying to play light sabers but it also totally gives up your location. I now know why there were only two unopened boxes of many at the store. Returning if today.

Just received my Viridian green laser, and all i can say is WOW! This is my first green laser but wont be my last.This laser is clearly visible in the daylight up to at least a couple HUNDRED yards or farther. And the light works great w/ all the different settings. And Best of all CABELAS' had it at my home within a week. THANKS CABELAS' for the great service and a great product.
