The best way to carry six extra rounds in the most convenient and accessible location for quick reloading without losing sight of your target. Mounts directly to the shotgun receiver with an aircraft-grade aluminum mounting plate. Shell holder is injection-molded of Hytrel®, a durable polymer that resists damage from wear, moisture and temperature extremes. Easy installation. In most cases, no alterations are required. For Remington 870 Express and Wingmaster, a minor modification to the shotgun forend is required.

    I purchased this item for my Mossberg 590. It was very easy to install with and did not require any "gunsmithing tools" at all. It took about 5 minutes. Now I have an additional 6 shells at the ready should a home defense situation present itself.
    I went to the range to practice loading from the SideSaddle and after a few short minutes it became second nature.
    This product is sturdy yet light and is typical of the quality products I always find at Cabelas. I highly recommend this product!

    I have a 7 round Remington 870,The Tac Star Side Saddle fit perfectly.Follow the directions and it is a easy fit.It took me about 10 minutes.Good Luck
