Advanced Technology (ATI) 12 GA Top-Folding Shotgun Stock

Keep your shotgun compact for easy transport and storage and still have a reliable stock to flip down to shoulder mount the firearm. Stock folds over the top instead of swinging to a side for less interference with operation. Quick-release button locks in seconds for a firm hold. Checkered rear pistol grip. A sling swivel stud lets you strap the shotgun over your shoulder. Installs easily without gunsmithing. Pre-drilled to accept shotshell holder (sold separately). Black, glass-filled nylon construction. Lifetime warranty. Made in USA.
Fits: Mossberg 500/590, Maverick 88, Remington 870, and Winchester 1200/1300 pump-action.

Great Addition
Date:
Put this on my Mossberg 500 Chainsaw grip edition and I could not be happier. Can now shoot either way when I am at the range. Only disadvantage is that it is not the most comfortable thing. Maybe some padding on the butt of the stock wouldn't be a bad addition. All in all though a great ATI product.

Looks better than it feels!
Date:
I had bought the JIC (Just In Case) Mossberg 500 and added this to the shot gun. First off, its very simple to install!
Second, with this added piece, you cannot load the shot gun back in JIC case, it makes the back end too wide:(
Third, you can reach the "safety swtich" with the stock closed... but you may have to use your other hand to reach it. The side walls are about an inch tall, so depending on your hand will dictate if you do everything by one hand.
Fourth, When I was shooting with target rounds... everything went perfectly. The butt stock is perfect. Not too big etc. But when I switch ammo to "00" Buck...OUCH! The side of the stock near my thumb... it cut into my hand with each shot. My suggestion is to take come cloth etc on the edge where your hand will be to pad it, if not, it will cut into you with high power rounds.
Fifth, You cannot beat the look. With the stock folded over the gun... it looks like you are a professional.
In all, I'm happy with it, because it keep the square inch of the weapon down and when you need the stock, its there.

ATI Quality
Date:
I all of a sudden wanted to go on night patrol when I put on my 870. Fit well and does what it's supposed to do. Quality is good. Could not get passed the feel of the grip though.

Maximum Versatility
Date:
This stock fit my 870 well, no problems with the install. The pistol grip is fun and all, but sometimes you just need a stock- though 3" rounds still punish you enough with either. It's definitely more rugged than the assault rifle-style collapsing stocks. One flaw is that the button to release the stock to fold out "bites" your thumb a little as the catch rotates. You can't beat the Jurassic Park look. I paired it up with an ATI rail fore end and a folding pistol grip.
