Beginning shooters and experts alike appreciate the reliable stability afforded by these shooting aids. Their Yoke Adjustment System (YAS) is the first adjustable rubber V-yoke on the market. Push a button on the YAS to lock the V angle at 160°, 120° or 80° to accommodate different firearm forends. The head rotates 360° to track moving targets and has soft rubber fins to protect the gun finish. Ergonomic foam-rubber grips ensure a firm hold in any weather. Adjustable leg includes measurement marks for measuring snow or water depth and feature quick-flip locks. Threaded head mounts accept optics and cameras. Includes a removable handle with integrated compass for use as a walking stick. Rubber foot converts to spike for use on soft ground. Available:
Have been looking for a monopod that could both be used for photography as well as a walking stick. I use my dslr to film fly fishing outing with my friends and this stick is working out perfect. It is light weight but sturdy. It has only slipped once and that is when i put my full weight (180) into it. With the camera mounted on top it is as sturdy as a rock. I can also throw my waterproof camera on the end and use the stick to get a look at what\u2019s going on in the river.
The only draw back is that it is not water tight.
I have not used the shooting rest nor have I tested this in very cold conditions. That day will come and I suspect I will not be disappointed.
