Vanguard Pro Series Monopods
Date:
Have been looking for a monopod that could both be used for photography as well as a walking stick. I use my dslr to film fly fishing outing with my friends and this stick is working out perfect. It is light weight but sturdy. It has only slipped once and that is when i put my full weight (180) into it. With the camera mounted on top it is as sturdy as a rock. I can also throw my waterproof camera on the end and use the stick to get a look at what\u2019s going on in the river.
The only draw back is that it is not water tight.
I have not used the shooting rest nor have I tested this in very cold conditions. That day will come and I suspect I will not be disappointed.
