Cabela's "Bullet Proof" One Black-Powder Rifle Case

Our "Bullet Proof" Black-Powder Case provides even more protection for your black powder rifle. New 45° heli-arc welded corners protect this vulnerable area from dents and dings. Just like the originals, these are constructed of virtually indestructible .063" marine-grade aluminum for maximum strength. Heavy-duty closed-end rivets attach hinges, latches, handles and rigid internal dividers without letting in dust or moisture. They have top-quality, full-length piano hinges, along with plated steel latches and handle, and a stainless steel locking rod system. A weather seal keeps out moisture, and dense, thick urethane foam cradles and protects your firearms and gear. Meets airline requirements.

As advertised, this is a well-built, rugged case that provides excellent protection. It will fit two 'traditional' muzzleloaders (eg. Pattern 53 Enfields) without scopes, along with long accessories such as range rods. Mine arrived well packed and undamaged, but rough handling would probably produce some denting although it would not compromise protection for the contents.

This case is as it is said to be " Bullet Proof ".
It's extremely rigid and non-flexable, making it perfect transportation protection for my expensive custom built muzzle loading rifle or black powder cartridge rifles. It's a little spendy, but I feel my rifles are worth it, and can I take them to the range or on hunting trips with out worrying about damage to them.

Great long rifle case.

When I got my new longe range rifle it did not fit in any of my cases. After the tape measure told me it was 54" overall I knew I was going to ned to buy a new case. The Cabela's BulletProof case was the first I thought of, a double rifle case has served me well for over a decade and has flown all over the country on more that 25 hunts. When I saw this case in the catalog I knew it needed a second look. Great case, glad I bought it. The only thing muzzleloader about this case is it's name. Perfect for those long barreled long range rifles.
