Awesome shanty! Folds down to fit about anywhere. Fast set up/take down. I would definitely recommend buying some more anchors. Very structurally sound strong stitching. Only problem I have had is the eyelets bending/Breaking around the anchor holes. If your looking for a inexpensive large shelter this is the one. Fished 6 with gear!
The Good The Bad and The Ugly! This tent is designed great, lots of room and pockets. Easy quick set up by one person if it is not windy!! Pockets that hold poles in place are sewn poorly, and not thick enough material. I am having a saddle shop help me sew some leater pieces over them to make them last more than one trip out on the ice. A high wind gusts completely riped the stitching out around the base of the tent between the layer with the eye holes to screw into the ice. and the sides. so I might have them try to reinforce that.also the plastic buckles for the safety straps to keep the sides out in the wind all shatered when that wind gust hit all of a sudden? Customer service is great at their stores. I deffinatly love it as far as keeping me and my family warm out on the ice catching fish. I just wish they would have tested it more for the quaility workmanship of the assembly process! Also I forgot the ice anchors are bad as well and in some ways cause damage to the tent as well as busting out the rivit washers at the base of the tent. I would recomend geting the ones that hook up to a cordless dill and screw down tight to the ground and dont have a slot in the handle letmaterial get puled up by the wind and twisted
used the tent three times, the last time it got used we popped it out to find that one of the rods had made it's way through the material that holds it in place. it's a nice tent but could use some heavy duty sewing or something different for the pole pockets two of the others was about to poke through. excelent customer service no questions or hassle to return has promise of being a nice tent would not recomend at this point
So with limited reviews i chanced the beast... Set up the hub at my house after i purchased it. It is easy enough for a single person to put up and take down, similar to the eskimo, thinner materials. Everything was ok.
Took it out on my first trip and two of the pole end seams ripped out, hub mostly unusable. This is not what you want when you've spent all the time and money for a fishing trip let alone the -20 temperatures. It will be returned and I won't try again.
