Some suggestions for improvement
Date:
We bought our shelter last year for Christmas and have used it several times. It is easy to set up and keeps you warm. But the corners need to be reinforced for the wind and you definitely need two people to set up in the wind. We live in SW Montana where it is windy 80% of the time. Therefore we have had to sew all eight corners (lower and upper) for reinforcement and today the top hub broke when we were trying to set it up in the wind. Perhaps a heavy duty (more wind worthy) version should be developed with reinforced corners and a little heavier duty hubs.

Only good if there's no wind!
Date:
Purchased this last year and had nothing but problems! The suppport poles broke after a few uses and one time while trying to set it up on a windy day, the wind caught it like a parachute and tore it to pieces! It does go up/tear down easy and isnt bulky like most shantys but I would spend the $$$ on a durable one with some sort of floor and save a ruined fishing trip! I did package it up and sent it back for return after 4-5 uses and Cabelas gave me a full reimbersment and even gave me a giftcard for the shipping costs.

Not reliable enough
Date:
I had planned on a favorable review because I liked this shelter the first time I used it. Was easy to set up and roomy enough too. However, my wife and I took it out this afternoon and when we were pulling the walls out, one of the hubs shattered preventing us from using it. We were following the directions and were not forcing anything.
I re-read the reviews and it seems that this has happened to others. I will be returning this to Cabela's for a refund. I can't trust it not to break. I need a dependble shelter, especially when we travel a significant distance to remote lakes.

first pop up - very quick to go up
Date:
Bought this with intention of being able to bring at least 2 others with while not having an ATV. The tent served its purpose well. Very light to carry and fits very easily into its case (even while wet/icy/cold) on th ice.
Tent pops up very quickly. They recommended to try indoors first but I did it on the ice...just need to understand how each side pops out. Takes only a min or so to go up or down. Ice anchors take all the time if you need to use them.
Zippers seem very durable and I like having two doors that are easy to open.
down sides:
Ice anchors that come with definately need a tool to assist! They are large dia. I had smaller anchors that could manually screw in more easily.
Windows are probably too high to see tipups while sitting down.
Now just need to figure out a floor to keep the feet off the ice!
Overall -- I am pretty satisfied with this for when getting a few others out.
*Use for 3 people on a low/no wind, cold day.
