Black 20 Gauge, 26" Barrel (Comfortech)
    Date:
I have owned several shotguns over the years from a variety of manufactures. This 20 gauge has quickly become my favorite upland and clays gun ever. (Note: I just sold my Browning Maxus. It no longer compared to my Vinci.) The M2, 20 gauge is lightweight (a wonderful characteristic when packing it all day long), has little felt recoil (for me, at least), points and balances well, and is (as most Benelli\u2019s are) extremely easy to maintain.
I threw a wide variety of loads into this gun from heavy to light. After 600 rounds of expensive and inexpensive shotshells, I can honestly (and happily) report that I had zero failed to fire or eject shells, even with extremely light 7/8 ounce target loads. I was very impressed, especially when this is the first Benelli I\u2019ve owned that did not require a short break-in period.
    Fabulous gun!

    Perfection
    Date:
I have read that there is no such thing as a perfect shotgun. That you need a pimped out turkey gun with an expensive sight and a SWAT team stock, an over/under for upland birds, a custom clays gun, and if you want to hunt waterfowl, then it better be a 3 1/2 inch gun that handles like you are swinging a telephone pole. For me, this gun does what all those could possibly do. I purchased the gun on sale last fall for and since then I have shot doves, pheasants, coyotes, canadian geese, snow geese, ducks, 2 mature gobblers, and some clays. This thing has seen the snow and the rain. I do take care of it, and there has been no misfires. It has cycled 1 ounce loads without a hitch.
The gun fits me like a dream, which is possibly the most important thing of all, and may make this review pointless to you. It is exceptionally lightweight, and the recoil isn't bad at all. With 1 3/4 or 2 ounce turkey loads, a day of patterning did leave my cheek sore, but my shoulder was fine.
The gun is so easy to clean. I was a little nervous the first time I took it apart, with this being my first semi-automatic contraption, but it almost takes itself apart. You will find it is very easy to clean.
I do believe that if you can't do it with a 3 inch shell, you can't do it anyway. Get them in close, and let her rip. The added balance and feel of this gun is so much better than these heavy and clunky 8 lb 3 1/2 inch guns.
I am considering getting a 20 gauge for my girl because I do not think there is a better gun out there. Especially if you team it up with some new Federal Heavyweight turkey shells (have you seen these things? ridiculous!) and the 20 is great for the upland birds as well.

    M2 left hand
    Date:
This is a very nice shotgun if you want a left hand auto. It is made for left hand shooters down to the last detail. Easy to clean and does one thing very well, then these are worth a look at.
I'm giving it four stars because you can not find another barrel for it anywhere. If you wanted to use it as a Tactical M2, or a rifled deer/hog gun for-get-about-it.
There are right hand barrels all over the internet, even left hand barrels for other models, but not for a M2 left hand.
The good and bad thing is I bought another Benelli. This time a right hand H&K M1 90 tactical to fill that gap.

    Happy Birthday to Me
    Date:
This shotgun was a birthday present from the family, my brother and I both got these at the same time. mine is the blk left-handed 12 ga and his is the APG Camo 20 ga shot both his is so lite 5.6 lb mine 7.1 lb smooth and lightning quick cycling, his had a little sharper poke then mine do to weight. both comfort-tech stock. Birds don't stand a chance, the Crio barrel holds a tight pattern. Went bird hunting Matt was toting a Browning auto loader and he was impressed with weight of my M2 . Easy to point .Buy one, or two you will like it Simplest shot gun I,ve ever cleaned it's all stays in the barrel. the action on this eat's up most of the recoil I have to count to 3 so i can give bird some time to fly a bit so I don't pop off their heads. Came with 5 Crio-choke tubes in the box
