Fits like custom made

Just purchased this cover as my old one ripped apart on last fishing trip. I am very impressed with the way this cover fits my boat. Just make sure you have the proper boat measurements. The beam measurement is very important. The salesperson was a great help in my decision to purchase. Got it on sale too so that was a bonus. Can not tell about durability but with a 5 year warranty I am not overly concerned. It sure looks and fits great on my G3 boat!

Not a good fit

The size 'B' (14-16') did not fit my 15' 6" V-hull, open bow. It was too narrow in the bow and windshield although it is supposed to fit a Tri-hull.. The length was also a little short
I exchanged it for the 'C' size (16-18') which is way too wide and looks like it was made for a 20' boat leaving me to wonder if it was miss-labeled..
The material and quality appear to be top notch
The customer service at Cabela's is 'A' plus with a no hassle exchange.

I had my doubts with anything other than a custom cover made specifically for your boat. While this cover does not quite meet the exactness of a full custom cover, it is more than adequate, quite well made and MUCH cheaper than custom.

I'm not sure I would trailer my boat with this on, but it looks as though it could be done with nearly zero flapping in the wind. The cover cinches up tight all around, including the bow and transom. The straps may be a bit more time consuming (as other reviews have mentioned), BUT, I drilled & screwed small (1") metal coat hooks onto the frame of my trailer for my old custom cover for the straps. This enabled me to simply hook the straps onto the trailer frame mounted hooks, instead of looping straps around the frame as others described. Works perfect and QUICK! There is no doubt my boat will be protected extremely well with this cover.

Save yourself several hundred dollars over a custom cover. This one will work wonderfully for a medium or deep V, and bass style fishing boats (perhaps runabouts too)

Nice fit. I bought it for a 18.5 bowrider (I/0). The boat is under my carport so the elastic liner works fine. The fit is snug. I wish it were a little bit wider so that it would completely cover the graphics on the sides of the boat. I also wish the vents were placed a little higher, they hang over the sides and I'm not sure how much air they'll let inside. Over all I'm satisfied especially because it cost half as much as anything else I could find.
