Cabela's Trail Tuff V-Hull Fishing Boat Cover

  • Quick-release mooring straps every 30" with 600-lb. break strength
  • Drawcord closure for a tight fit while traveling
  • Double-needle seam construction
Our Tuff Trail boat covers deliver maximum boat protection during trailering and storage. Constructed of heavy-duty 600-denier polyester water-resistant fabric, they're 3-1/2 times stronger than traditional canvas covers and are finished with a water- and stain-repellent fabric treatment. Double- needle seam construction using tough polyester thread and fully reinforced at all stress areas. Includes 600-lb.-break-strength trailering strap system with side-seam placement every 30". Six-year warranty.

Great fitting boat cover, the material holds out the rain and weather very well, the only problem is that the strap material sun rots in less than a year!! I would suggest that the Quality Control department look for a better grade of strapping material. Then I would give it a five star rating

Impossible cover

I ordered this cover because of the reviews. I couldn't get it to tighten down around the front of my boat and the tie down straps wouldn't keep the wind from getting under the cover while trailering. I returned it. Got credit for the purchase.

Just put this boat cover on my boat before the last rain. Kept the water out great. It fits really close to the outboard so very little water falls down into the back of the boat. The straps have to be looped around the trailer and clipped in. It should be fine once I get it adjusted right. The problem is the front of the cover that fits over the bow of the boat. I am pretty sure that it won't stay in place if I try to trailer the boat with the cover on. It doesn't have a "point" in the cover to hook over the nose of the boat. If you pull it too tight at the back the cover pulls off of the bow of the boat. I might have to rig another strap there to keep it in place. It does have a 6 six year warranty so I will see how it holds up over time. I wouldn't think this would be the boat cover for you if you know you plan on towing with the cover on. I hardly ever do that so for the money it costs I should be fine with it.

I was very pleased with the cover. It was made better then I expected. The tie downs work very well to secure the top. Over all I very happy with the cover.
