Cabela's Trail Tuff Bass & Walleye Boat Cover

Our Tuff Trail boat covers deliver maximum boat protection during trailering and storage. Constructed of heavy-duty 600-denier polyester water-resistant fabric, they're 3-1/2 times stronger than traditional canvas covers and are finished with a water- and stain-repellent fabric treatment. Double- needle seam construction using tough polyester thread and fully reinforced at all stress areas. Includes 600-lb.-break-strength trailering strap system with side-seam placement every 30". Fits boats with or without consoles and low-profile windshields. Six-year warranty.
Boat cover does not come with a motor cover.

Put cover on in late April, fit was pretty good. By July the straps were deteriorating from the sun and became extremely hard to pull through the buckles to tighten. By October the cover was letting a lot of water through, I tent it properly and had no ponding, yet still had water inside. Took a 5 hour trip and the straps actually wore the paint off the hull they were so rough and degraded from the sun. The straps over the top began to actually powder when you touched them. Draw rope also started to fail. So I got less than six months from a cover that is guaranteed for six years. Called Cabela\u2019s and they said I could just return it as I took the boat to get a custom snap on cover made from Top Gun that will be waterproof and last at least 6 years. Good on Cabela\u2019s for saying I could return it instead of making me take a replacement, I have not returned it yet but am sure they will stand by their word.

THIS PRODUCT IS EXACTLET AS I REQUESTED WHEN I PURCHASED THE BOAT COVER. IT FITS MY BOAT LIKE A GLOVE AND KEEPS THE BOAT DRY WHEN IT RAINS . I LIKE THE TIEDOWN SYSTEM SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE . GREAT PRODUCT

Boat cover seems to be better

This is my thrid cover since '05. Cabela's replaced the cover with no questions asked. This time it made the 12 hour journey to Canada without a tear or cord ripping, and survived the return trip home without a problem. Let's see how it survives the rest of the year...
Although the cover has failed twice before, I still rated it 4 stars as Cabelas replaced it without a hassle what-so-ever.
