Cabela's Ratchet-Tite Boat Cover - V-Hull I/O

The new Rope Ratchet® system allows for quick and easy tie down and a secure fit. Tie-down straps on the V-hull I/O model attach quickly around the trailer frame and provide a snug fit. Plus, removable trailering straps allow you to use the cover for mooring, storage and trailering. It fits windshield models, including walk-through. Cover is constructed of 600 x 600-denier water-resistant polyester with double-needle stitched seams and a mold- mildew- and UV-resistant finish. Seven-year warranty.

Had one on my old boat, it was great. Bought one for my new one. It's a rag! When I got it home I noticed that the new one is MUCH lighter than the first. New one lets in a lot of water. It has 5 rips in two years. I know to pad where it contacts the boat. This thing rips where there is no contact! I've had cheap covers that do a better job than this one. (I've had boats for over 25 years.)

Fairly good cover

Fits as advertised. Be sure to place foam pipe insulation on windshield edges to prevent tearing. 5 yrs later it has a thin feel from weathering and multiple areas of tearing have become apparent. Will return to test 7 yr. warranty claim.

don't waste your money

only gave it a star because 0 stars wasn't an option. total junk. bought this item less than a year ago to cover a very standard boat by a major manufacturer. fit was ok but nothing to brag about. that's where the good features ended. lots of tie downs but the material is so cheesy that less than one year later it's in tatters. never towed with it but mildew and UV resistant it is not! large holes ripped in it from repeated wetting and drying in the sun. if the boat wasn't outdoors why would i need a cover? it's supposed to have a 7 year warrenty so i'm taking it back to the store and we'll see. the real kicker here is that this was not a cheap cover. it was almost $300 and it didn't last a year. awful. i bought a cover for half this price that lasted 3 years before the uv finally ate it. discontinue this piece of junk or maybe sell it for what it is: a cheap disposable tarp.

The quick release rachets will not hold when the cover is tightened down. Had to use bungee cords to secure the cover.
